We are happy to help out with organising a place for you stay whilst in Cape Town. We have some contacts within the local Bed and Breakfast scene and can happily recommend a variety of BnB’s, or backpackers for the more budget constrained. We can also assist with making bookings if you want.

Last few treasure maps been a bit off? High seas profiteering not going your way? If you’ve had your treasure hold truly plundered recently, we might be able to find you a spare bed at a friend’s place, although these spots are limited.
Aside from Backpackers’ Lodges (where your plundered booty is likely to be plundered back from you), the Formula 1 Hotel (Foreshore) is probably about as cheap as you can get: from about R369 per room (sleeps 2 or 3). The Upper East Side hotel in Woodstock is about 2 blocks from our house, and its also pretty cheap — from R399 per room (sleeps 2) in September. Neither of these hotels include a morning meal to break your fast.

If enough people are interested, we can hire a self-catering luxury villa near the waterfront and those staying can split the costs as they see fit. 6 or more people sharing would be required to make this affordable, i.e. cheaper than a hotel or bed and breakfast. For a sample of what is available have a look at
- Exclusive Villas (one of Amanda’s clients – she’s quite chuffed with how the site turned out)
